Password: Supplied by DMGi Step by Step Guide Open Thunderbird. If this is the first time you have run Thunderbird then you will automatically be taken to the new "Account Wizard". Otherwise click on "Edit" from the main toolbar then "Account Settings" and finallay "Add Account" in the Bottom left quarter of the window. On the next screen please enter your full name, and email address as supplied by DMGi and click "Next". You will now be asked to select your server type and enter the corresponding details. You may choose either POP3 or IMAP as your incoming mail server. POP3 will download directly to you mail client while IMAP will be stored on the DMGi mail servers. There is a 500Mb limit on all mail accounts. In either case your incoming server should be "pop3.dialin.co.uk" and your outgoing server should be "smtpauth.dialin.co.uk". Click "Next" when you have completed this. You will now need to fill in your account username which will be supplied to you by DMGi in the format of diXXXX where XXXX is a number, this should be the same for both your incoming and outgoing user name, once complete click "Next". Supply an account name for your own reference, this has no effect on the working of Thunderbird on your email account with DMGi, when you are happy with your account name click "Next". You have now completed the main configuration of Thunderbird to pick up email from DMGi please double check your settings on the final screen and click "Finish". The first time you click "Get Mail" you will be prompted to enter your password as supplied by DMGi enter your password and click "OK", you will also see the same dialog box the first time you try to send mail. Again fill in your password and click "OK".
